Somaline’s mixed-blood good looks came from her Singaporean dad and Thai mom, who are very supportive of her decision to step foot into showbiz. The 19-year-old packed the room with giggles when she indulged in a fangirl moment, naming Xu Bin and Rui En as her favourite MediaCorp actors. True to her candid personality. Although she used to be very affected by what others thought of her, Somaline has come to accept that 'it is impossible for everyone to like you'. Way to go, girl! Of Chinese and Thai heritage, Somaline was one of the semi-finalists on Channel U’s Hey Gorgeous, a talents search programme. She comes across as a mature young lady, speaks eloquently and is always well composed; unlike any ordinary 19 year olds. Currently pursuing a Diploma in Business Information Technology at Temasek Polytechnic, Somaline juggles between school and attending performing arts classes. She most recently completed an acting course at the Singapore Media Academy. Musically inclined, Somaline can play both the flute and piano. A self-motivated young lady, she is ready to take on any acting works that come her way.
